What you enter for the checks is calculated only in your device's browser and is not sent anywhere. There is no login or registration (“My packing list” is kept in this browser only when you press “Save on this device”).
We use Cloudflare for delivery and access analytics (the analytics do not use cookies). We count only how many times our features are used (a check result shown, an item added to your list, a calendar file made), how many times Amazon links are clicked (by page and product), and how many times pages are opened (by page and by the kind of source, such as search or social media); what you enter is not sent.
We use Google AdSense for ads, and Rakuten Affiliate and the Amazon Associates Program (Japan) for “PR” links; the English pages also load a script from Travelpayouts (an affiliate network for travel brands) to confirm that we own this site, and Travelpayouts also provides some of the “PR” links on the English pages. These companies may use cookies and receive information such as the page address and its content, to show ads and “PR” links and to measure results. Their own privacy policies apply on their sites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites (how Google uses data is described here). You can opt out of personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings, or of third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.

How information sent through the contact form is handled is described on the contact page.
The operator uses a tool called “tabirule uploader”, which uses Google’s YouTube Data API, to upload and schedule videos on the operator’s own YouTube channels. Only the operator uses this tool; it is not something visitors to this site use.
- The Google permissions (uploading videos to YouTube and managing your YouTube account) are used only to upload and schedule videos, set titles, descriptions and similar settings, set thumbnails, add videos to playlists, and confirm which channel is being used (reading the channel name), on the operator’s own YouTube channels
- We do not collect or store the Google account or YouTube information of visitors to this site or of anyone else
- The permission information received from Google (tokens) is stored only on the operator’s computer, and is not shared with anyone or used for any other purpose
- tabirule uploader’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements
- Permissions can be revoked at any time in your Google Account settings
