What this site does
This is a tool for checking, before a trip, "Can I take this item on a plane?" and "Can I use this electrical product at my destination?" The checks are based on documents such as those of Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), each shown with its source and retrieval date.
It is designed for trips departing from Japan (taking electrical products from Japan, on flights leaving Japanese airports). Checks for flights departing from airports outside Japan are based on MLIT's rules, so also check the rules of that country and your airline.
It only covers "Can I take it? Can I use it?" It does not check entry procedures (such as ESTA).
Disclaimer
The checks are based on official documents, but airlines and airports may have stricter rules. In the end, follow the guidance of your airline and airport and the instructions of their staff. The operator cannot accept responsibility for any damage arising from the results of this tool.
Rules may change. When we notice a change, we check the documents again and update the site.

Privacy
What you enter for the checks (destination, products, capacity, etc.) is calculated only in your device's browser and is not sent to the operator's server or anywhere else. There is no login or registration.
This site is delivered using Cloudflare's services. Normal access records when a page is opened (such as IP addresses) are kept by Cloudflare as part of delivery.
For access analytics, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts things like how often pages are opened and how fast they load, and does not use cookies. What you enter for the checks is not included in these counts.
