- Free shuttle buses run between Terminals 1, 2 and 3 about every 4 minutes from 5:00 to 20:00, and about every 8 minutes from 20:00 to 24:00
- International flights use Terminal 3 and part of Terminal 2 — check which terminal your flight uses
- Arriving internationally at Terminal 3 and flying domestic from Terminal 1 or 2: go through the domestic transfer security checkpoint in Terminal 3 and take the bus. When it is closed, use the Keikyu line, the monorail or the free shuttle
- Passengers connecting between domestic and international flights (or between international flights) can get a free transit boarding ticket for the Keikyu line or the monorail between Terminals 1/2 and 3 at the information counters (Terminal 1 B1F, Terminal 2 B1F, Terminal 3 2F)
- Whether you need to collect and re-check your bags depends on your airline — ask the airline
- Free connecting buses run between terminals: Terminal 1 ↔ 3 about 14 minutes, Terminal 3 ↔ 2 about 3 minutes, Terminal 2 ↔ 1 about 10 minutes. You can also walk between Terminals 2 and 3
- International to domestic: you go through immigration at the terminal where you arrive, move to the domestic terminal if needed, check in, and go through security again — Narita's page explains that connecting passengers are screened again to Japan's standards
